Description

My characters Ash(on left) and Gywnplaine (on right) from my story "By a Thread."
-----------------------------------------
Every time he tried to fade away, she kept pulling him back, digging herself deeper into him. Her breath and her claws were all he could feel, holding him, but that was it. He felt the warmth of her body, but not her flesh, her whisper in his ear, but not her lips.

Her shadow trapped him, talons drawing blood anew over old blood, digging deeper as she whispered,
"I could never let you go."

The warmth remained as the shadow dissipated into the darkness, leaving the smell of freshly lit cigarettes, and burning skin. The man never opened his mouth, sealing his lips from that cursed woman. He would have never given her the pleasure of hearing his pain, but even now he knew she was watching close by. Even as he stumbled forward, blood trailing down his chest, he knew he must keep moving. If only he could pull the off the blindfold and see. But he knew that wasn't Ash. It was the darkness of his heart which kept him blind.

I drew this to better understand them, and it has done wonders for me. Thank you so much :iconpandora123: for the inspiration to explore. I did a pencil base, and colored with prismacolor markers and acrylic paint.(i want to try copex!)

I used the smoke brush from :iconfalln-stock:

I love how shocking her right hand is, and the fact that its spikiness matches that of his hair.
